Due to its considerable amounts of alpha acid, it is most suitable as bittering hop. As main hop addition, it ensures a fresh, full-bodied rounded bitterness, and is a good base for a later hop addition. As late hop addition, it will add a pleasant fruity bitterness to the beer. Alpha acid content: 6.5-8.5%. The exact alpha acid content is indicated on every package.
All our hops are packed in special vacuum packages for optimal storage life and placed in a cold storage room at 5 °C. The availability and alpha acid content strongly depend on the harvest.
