Universal hop, particularly used as bittering hop. Often used in dark beers, as well as in Altbier and Kölsch. The cones have a slightly browner colour than usual. It is one of the main varieties in the Hallertau region, where it developed good aroma qualities in the sunny climate. Alpha acid content: 7-10%. The exact alpha acid content is indicated on every package.
All our hops are packed in special vacuum packages for optimal storage life and placed in a cold storage room at 5 °C. The availability and alpha acid content strongly depend on the harvest.
